Sebastian Ritz runs the digital business unit of the Friedhelm Loh Group, the German Edge Cloud, comprising several former Cloud and Industrial Automation startups. German Edge Cloud offers products for industrial cloud and edge computing. The group recently launched ONCITE, the first real-time edge cloud data center for the shopfloor hosting Bosch Nexeed PPM, Supply Chain Track&Trace and AI based industrial analytics. He is also a board member of the cloud Ecosystem, the German industry association of cloud companies. Sebastian has launched several international IT start ups and joint ventures before and held CIO and CTO positions in Xchanging Ltd, european transacation bank AG (DB subsidiary) and first-e Ltd. He holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Computer Science, both from RWTH Aachen.
