Prof. Dr. Haya Schulmann is a Full Professor of Computer Science at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and holds a LOEWE Top Professorship. She is a member of the Board of Directors of ATHENE – the German National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity – where she serves as the Director of Science Communications and International Cooperation and leads the research areas in analytics-based cybersecurity, cybersecurity in energy systems, and research security. She also serves as Chair of the State Graduate Center for Applied AI in Heilbronn.

Her research addresses practical applications of cybersecurity, with emphasis on network security, software security, routing and DNS, cryptographic protocols, and AI security. She has published over 120 peer-reviewed papers in leading international conferences and journals and has identified and disclosed dozens of critical vulnerabilities affecting widely deployed systems and critical infrastructures.
