The BCX hackathon

Bosch ConnectedExperience (BCX) is one of Europe’s largest AI and IoT hackathons. It has become a key platform for the global community of developers, product owners, product managers, UX experts, entrepreneurs and innovators from more than 45 countries.

Bosch ConnectedExperience 2026 took place from 9 to 10 June 2026 at the Amazon Tower in Berlin, Germany, in collaboration with partners AWS and MongoDB. Around 100 selected participants had 20 hours to team up and work on challenges in fields such as future mobility, industry and manufacturing, advanced robotics and cognitive platforms.

The availability of cutting edge technologies and a wide range of compatible devices enabled innovative breakthroughs. Together with strong partners AWS and MongoDB, participants were able to turn bold ideas into real prototypes.

Who was the hackathon for?

Bosch ConnectedExperience (BCX) was open to all new and experienced coders, developers, UX and product designers. The event welcomed everyone who wanted to contribute to creating connected solutions invented for life.

What could you expect?

Participants designed and developed connected products, apps and services with a strong focus on outstanding user experiences. They worked with a wide range of IoT and AI sensors, devices and software, and pitched their use cases to an experienced audience.
