Alex Ren joined Bowintec in August 2025 as CEO, with overall responsibility for the company’s core functions including strategic planning, operational management, product marketing, P&L management, and fundraising. He leads the industrial deployment of embodied AI technologies in smart manufacturing.

Bowintec is co-founded by Bosch Ventures, Boyuan Capital, and Galbot, a leading Chinese enterprise in embodied AI.

Alex holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Automation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has over 20 years of deep experience in industrial/logistics automation and robotics, with more than 15 years of end-to-end strategic management expertise covering product development, manufacturing, sales, and global operations.

He has held senior executive positions at well-known international and Chinese companies including KUKA, Swisslog, and TCL. He has successfully driven the full closed-loop implementation of multiple products from R&D to global commercialization. He excels in building 0-to-1-to-N product lines and core teams, with outstanding capabilities in cross-regional, cross-border collaboration and business development. He adheres to a results-oriented management philosophy.
