Bosch ConnectedWorld’s mission for 2022 is to create a global, hybrid event that connects the best minds in AIoT and digital transformation while overcoming the barriers presented by different locations and time zones. For us, a truly hybrid event can only come to life when it features both an on-site and an online element.
The health and safety of everyone involved in the event, namely participants, exhibitors and speakers, but also our BCW team and other service providers such as the camera team, caterers and security, is our highest priority. We therefore have to carefully consider the current situation in the Covid-19 pandemic. In our view, holding BCW22 both on-site but also as an online-only event in February would pose a high risk for all of us. In order to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the event, we have therefore decided that:
BCW22 will be postponed to November 9 and 10, 2022.
On-site and online tickets remain valid for the new event date. The venue and hybrid format will stay the same. Our assumption is that the epidemiological situation will have improved by November 2022 to such an extent that the event can be held safely. In the interest of everyone involved, we want to counteract the risk that the February event would have to be cancelled at short notice due to official regulations or prohibitions.
This hasn’t been an easy decision for us: starting last summer, our highly motivated BCW team has been working flat out to relaunch Bosch ConnectedWorld in February 2022. Our hope was that we would be able to create a BCW as you know it: full of people interested in IoT from diverse industries around the world; exciting discussions with new and old connections; and the opportunity to pick up some genuine insights to take back to your work. The one major change was to hold the event both on-site and online. Now, all of this will still be happening – only not in February 2022 but in November!
Due to the postponement of the event, there may be changes to our program and to the speaker and exhibitor lineup as well. Please allow us a little time to work everything out. Our team will do everything in its power to publish the new program and the exhibitor lineup as soon as possible.
